                                              💤💤 Dream Log 💤💤 So this is a newer dream that I had last night. For the record this one happened the night of 9/12 going into 9/13. I was at my house preparing for what I thought was gonna be a light jog. The environment was gloom and dusty with clouds covering most of the neighborhood. But even with the gloom weather it didn't stop the residents from being outside and doing what neighbors do. There were people visiting others from out of town, people riding bikes from the trail, and other fun stuff. I mentioned the weather was gloomy but that could be an understatement. The way it made me feel while I was walking was the eeriest part of it all. I felt like at any moment some demon could come from the sky and cause havoc on the area. July 16th to the present has been nothing but wild roller coaster dreams. Last Sunday I drank a whole bottle of Capriccio before going to bed. I only did it because I had no intention of going to Church the next day; especially since I had been going to Church the past few Sundays back to back. You'd think it was a good break for me as a nice little send off before returning back to the work week, even though I don't have a job anymore. Regardless, this dream was different.      KICKS: THE GREAT AMERICAN STORY OF SNEAKERS👟   The mid sized book to the left of me is an overall timeline explanation of how shoes came to be, where it came from, and what it evolved into. After reading this book, I felt like I was the next best shoe don on the scene. It's different when you get the history of these things that we take for granted. Materialistic things are an always will be just that; materialistic. However, I'd be lying if I said that materialistic things weren't a mandatory add on of our lives.  People create materials through the use of more materials to create even better materials. Shoes are one of the best materialistic inventions to ever be created by humans. Materials grow, evolve, and adapt to our needs. Shoes have helped many over the years of its discovery. The Color of Money Black Banks And The Racial Wealth Gap💰💰💰 The large sized book to the right is one that covers a lot of issues associated with most of the other reviews I've given during my Black Enterprise journey. The Color Of Money compiles many of the issues that America has faced years after slavery, racism, segregation, Jim Crow, and much more. The topics in this book are an overview of how destructive those bad generational norms continue to plague America, the black community, banks, and the world as a whole. Failure to open more channels of success to minority communities is more of a conscious choice rather than a social one. Author Mehrsa Baradaran does a great job in exposing the government for their clear and blatant racism when it comes to minority communities.  The government - said to be made of the people and for the people, single handedly failed in its due diligence to hold up the ideals of America, thus making most of America's ideals come off as a joke...

  Precolonial Black Africa 𓁃𓀠𓀢𓀧 This mid to large size book, originally written in French, gives readers a gateway into what Africa was like before the colonization. "Precolonial Black Africa" gives readers a detailed outlook on what life was like amongst the earliest Africans. The book sheds light on what the early Africans did for a living, how they saw each other, how they handled conflicts, how they conquered other lands, how they practiced religion, and a number of other things.  Throughout the book, Cheikh Anta Diop divides the text into sections that focus on the different angles of political and social systems.   For example, section 2 or II or the book goes into detail on what the socio-political status of Africa was at the time.   Sections later on in the  text talk about the education levels that was present during precolonial black Africa. Black Genius: African American Solutions to African Americans Problems 🧠☻🧠 After reading the cover of this book, I assumed that the text would include a layout of problems that were vigilant in the black community.  I assumed to see ingenious solutions to ingenious problems created by people of their own community. However, what I saw and quickly noticed about the book was that it's a display of black genius' and the work they did to not only distinguish themselves from the world but black people as a whole.  Each chapter covers 2 things-  1. A mini explanation of the black genius in question along with the work they've contributed to history. 2. A closer look into the Genius and problems they've faced when it came to equality on top of how they handled those problems. The book displays a collection of over 10 black geniuses and their life stories; which is important to the theme in the text because if anything, the book serves as a guide on what black people should d...
