Dream log: 3 of 1

                                             πŸ’€πŸ’€Dream LogπŸ’€πŸ’€

So this is a newer dream that I had last night. For the record this one happened the night of 9/12 going into 9/13. I was at my house preparing for what I thought was gonna be a light jog. The environment was gloom and dusty with clouds covering most of the neighborhood. But even with the gloom weather it didn't stop the residents from being outside and doing what neighbors do. There were people visiting others from out of town, people riding bikes from the trail, and other fun stuff. I mentioned the weather was gloomy but that could be an understatement. The way it made me feel while I was walking was the eeriest part of it all. I felt like at any moment some demon could come from the sky and cause havoc on the area. But it never happened so  I continued my brisk jog. The interesting part about dreams are they can take something that looks normal and alter it to the point where you would think its an alternate universe. The neighborhood looks great and is well developed but in my dream, the

neighborhood looked like a movie. People had large developments in front of their house with some of the larges cement walkways I ever seen. The porch lights were very bright and large; almost like something that you would see in Great Britain.
After taking in the breath taking imagery, I noticed the girls who were riding their bikes from the trail. I saw them riding from that part of the neighborhood when I left my house. They were peddling very slow to the point where I turned around out of curiosity. What I saw when I turned my head was nothing but a pale slate on an empty face. The white powdery look was almost as if some shelf dolls possessed some real people and took over their bodies as a form of pleasure. Now I wont focus on that too much because at this point the dream glitch happened. I jumped scenes from right around the corner of my house to the backyard of my house. My home is very lovely. It has a nice backyard too but when it gets dark, boy does it get dark. I don't remember much about that part of the dream glitch but I do remember rushing inside to get  something or stop something from happening. When I was inside, I made an effort to close the door while it got dark. To be specific, I'm talking about the back door in the kitchen. This is a sliding door but in reality its had some problems here and there. The slide lock function on the handle broke one time making it so the door just didn't lock at all. We had a simple fix for this- wooden sticks (Just as effective). The only problem was in the dream, this door was broken broken. I tried doing everything to make it an effective lock. I tried toggling the handle, using chairs for support, using chairs and blocks for support, etc. I was hasty with it too because the entire time I could hear some deep grim voice that sounded very close by. The voice kept saying "They're ACTORS!!!!" and it would just keep going on and on and on. That was scary enough for motivation but eventually the door made its way to the closing side with my makeshift army of materials backing it up. This is the weirdest dream I've had all summer and I think  the alcohol I drank last night had something to do with the cringe images. I also think it has something to do with the amount of porn that I watch.  Stuff like this will cause me to cut out some of the old vices that have been a part of my life for so long. The only thing I would like to do with porn from here on out is appreciate the craft from a distance. That might help me with my social issues and lacking self confidence. But I'm glad I was able to share that with you all. Have a great day everyone.

Reviews by Pancho @ "The Half Has Never Been Told " By Edward E Baptist

πŸ‘₯ The Half Has Never Been Told   πŸ‘₯ This large-sized book is amazing. I normally don't start off the reviews like this but this book is something that I highly recommend for all people to read. The author Edward Baptist does a great job of connecting motives from the precolonial United States to the act of slavery and the profits made from it. Baptist includes views from so many different angles; which ties into one of the biggest events to ever happen to the united states. He goes on to factually break down every moment that added to the success of America, the destruction of black people, and the wealth of other nations. Because of the book's extensive length, some might have to go back and re-read sections. I know I had to a few times while reading it, but it was worth it.  I really like this book because, for the first time in a long time, it feels like the right light was shined on the right views. If all people read this, I feel like they would learn a thing or two abou...

Reviews by Pancho @ "Supreme Mathematic African Ma'at Magic" By African Creation Energy

Supreme Mathematic African Ma'at Magic ⫀⨦⨧ <<<------------This journal-sized book was fun to read in regards to the context found within the pages. The author(s) do a great job of supplying the text with pictures and images. This brings the text to life for each chapter, which makes the book enjoyable overall. While the imagery side of things is a 10/10, the factual side is a 4/10.  One issue I keep finding with books that attempt to educate people on the more spiritual side of things is the factuality of the content printed.  "Supreme Maat" covers the history of African American culture and its uses when it comes to mathematics.  What I fail to understand is how Mathematics correlates with people who have special powers and the ability to use certain magical things that were given to us by deities.  African Creation Energy, as a whole, threw me off with that one.  I don't believe that only certain gifted people can be good at math; nor do I believe tha...

Reviews by Pancho @ "As A Black Man Thinketh" By Reggie Whittaker

As A Black Man Thinketh ΰΆ§ This journal-sized book follows a very close POV style look at the Authors life and what he's been through over the years. He shines a light on common issues that black men go through living in America. Throughout the book, the audience is given a deeper insight into Whittaker's life when he explains his time being incarcerated in the jail system along with his marital issues. I really like this book because the author uses himself as an example that he can learn from and analyze with care.  I personally resonated with some of the upbringings that he endured while being a child of black parents in America.  Whittaker's ability to be as unbiased as possible makes him the perfect teacher to talk about common issues that aren't discussed enough within a race. We must not focus on the past, but in order to solve a multigenerational problem, one must learn to backtrack, hoping to see where the problem lies and where edits can be made.  The subtitle ...
