👤120 Degree Lessons: The Knowledge of Self Black Men👤

In this small book, the author reviews a series of lessons that seem to be related to the teachings of Allah. I'm not well versed in Islam or what they study, but over the years I've been lucky to be around and learn from other Muslims.  120 Degree Lessons shines a light on some of the biggest lessons taught to African American Muslims. For example, Supreme  Mathematics, Supreme Alphabet, Solar facts, and others are covered in this book.

I try not to fall too deep into books with niche focuses such as this one, as it makes it harder for me to give a reasonable review. The main reason for this book is that I'm not too knowledgeable about this religion.  I was brought up Christian with a Lutheran denomination. So most of the stuff I do believe is way different from that of a Muslim.  I do have some pros to share on this though. 

1 - The size of this book is really small, which is amazing. It was a quick read and serves as a journal that anyone could refer back to if need be.

2 - The facts in this book are insightful. I wasn't able to relate to all of them, but the ones that I could relate to seemed interesting in my mind. For example, there's a section titled "actual facts" which covers a lot of material regarding the world and other fun facts that most people glance over. 

I'd give the book an 8.5/10.  It works great as a small guide to refer to every now and then. There are even some good factual pieces included in the text. But like I said earlier, I was brought up Christian - so most of the texts do
not apply to me at all, thus I'm unable to relate.

Nike's Influence on the Conformation of Society

              There are many products of today that people tend to buy in order to “conform” themselves with the rest of society. Whether it’s the lower class, middle class, or upper class, there is always one product that strikes the mind of individuals. Nike Personified

Th ere are brands advertised to people every day, with more being thought up of every minute. With each brand advertised, there are multiple people who become attached to a certain brand, thus forming a sense of brand loyalty. I’ve come across a lot of brands in my life , tending to direct my loyalty towards a select few. However, there is a dominant brand that I have come to really affiliate myself with, “Nike” .
