"The Journey" - A Short Poem By Pancho

This is a short poem of mine that I wanted to share with you all. We all embark upon our own individual journeys in life. "It's not where you come from; it's where you're going that counts" - Ella Fitzgerald.

-THE JOURNEY-

A man walking along the highway was full of fear

The desolate sky reflected his life

For everywhere he turned, he could never find the price

For his darkness and worry was always being alone

But on this road, he hoped to find home.

There are many products of today that people tend to buy in order to “conform” themselves with the rest of society. Whether it’s the lower class, middle class, or upper class, there is always one product that strikes the mind of individuals. Th ere are brands advertised to people every day, with more being thought up of every minute. With each brand advertised, there are multiple people who become attached to a certain brand, thus forming a sense of brand loyalty. I’ve come across a lot of brands in my life , tending to direct my loyalty towards a select few. However, there is a dominant brand that I have come to really affiliate myself with, “Nike” .
